The Holy Month of Ramadan is arriving with extraordinary challenges encountered by many poor and needy families, the scarcity of money, food and water remains a major hurdle at the downward section of the Muslim Community.

We accept zakaat sadqah fitra and khairat donations and distribute them according to Islamic principles to the people in need. We work with active mosques and community organizations to identify people who qualify for Zakat and distribute the assistance. Recipients include widows, orphans, low-income poor families, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. The donations cover expenses such as food,, education, Medical expenses, employment, housing rent, basic facilities and other emergency needs.

In the year 2024-2025 with your support Gausia Academy achieved the following with your donations:

Zakat:

• More than 100 familes were given zakat and sadqah assistance which chaged their lives.
• 100 animals were given sadqah to the poor and needy families.

Project Ramadan Mubarak:

• Food Ration packs were given to more than 1000 families
• Iftar was given on daily basis to more than 200 poor needy familes for the entire month (zakat monet was not used for this)
• Iftar was given on daily basis to more than 20 masjids
• Sheer khurma packs were distributed to more than 200 poor and needy families
• 30000 ltrs of Water was supplied on daily basis in a village of Marathwada Maharashtra,where there was scarcity of water for entire month of Ramadan fulfilling their basic needs like drinking bathing and washing.(zakat money was not used for this)

Mission Taleem:

• School fees of more than 200 poor students was paid
• Scholarships were given to more the 25 deserving students at doctorate and management level
• School text books and note books were distributed to more than 500 students
• School Uniforms were distributed to more than 200 students

Project Rozgar:

• Provide 4 poor and needy persons with small multipurpose shops.
• Provided 25 poor needy people with push carts.
• Provided 50 poor daily waged worker, street vendors etc. with a means of livelihood by givin g them a working capital.

Project Sehat:

• 2 Medical camps were arranged in Maharashtra.
• More than 100 needy patients were provided with medicines on monthly basis.
• 1 cancer patients, 3 heart patients and 2 kindney patients were given monetary medical assistance for operation.

Project Shaadi Mubarak:

• We supported 5 poor girls and their family by easing of their burden of the marraige expenses.

Project Aasra:

• 5 needy families gifted with Housing assistance.
• House rent assistance was given to 25 needy families.

Project Ankhein:

• 26 cataract patients were operated in private hospital and given gift of eyesight.
• 2 eye checkup camps wre arranged in maharashtra ear.

Project Paani:

• Bore well: We have drilled a bore well in a village in dhule which provides a daily supply of drinking water.
• Water Filteration Plant: We have installed a water filteration plant in a village in dhule to provide safe drinking water to community.
